studioU - the[un]studio

Find out why after years of working for other photographers with retail studio locations Troy and Heidi Eiffert decided to venture out and create their own photography
business with a completely different concept: the [un]studio.  With the exception of their home office, the studio operates completely on-location.  The world is their playground as they capture images in their client’s homes, backyards, parks and city streets.

Learn how they’ve taken their business on the road and into their client’s homes creating a one-of-a-kind portrait experience unlike anyone in their area.  The Eifferts will share how they’ve quickly grown a client base in their city and throughout the Midwest.  They will talk about what equipment they use and how to efficiently pack, travel and set it all up.  Their program will also cover in-home sales techniques, products that sell, packaging & delivery, Photoshop tips & tricks and much, much more.

 Bio:

Heidi and Troy Eiffert, PPA M. Photogs., are the owners of studioU photography- an on-location studio specializing in personalized portraiture.  Although their business is just a few years old, they have both been photographing professionally for nearly a decade.  In that time they’ve been recognized as PPA Photographers of the Year and have received numerous awards including but not limited to: Iowa Top 10 Photographer, Iowa Top 5 Master Photographer, Iowa Medlar Recipient, HOA non-master photographer of year, Top 10 PPA album award, Kodak Gallery and Fuji Masterpiece awards.  They are also honored to have several images published in the PPA General Showcase and Loan Collection Books.  The couple resides in Kalona, Iowa but you will often catch them traveling throughout the Midwest and creating photographic heirlooms.
