Andrea Walker

I have had a camera in my hand since I was 13. I have always found it important to remember times and events in life. After marrying my best friend whose degree was in photography and advertising and talking about pursuing photography together we decided in 2003 that we wanted to create art for others and so our business began. And it was the best thing we ever did. We have always striven to think outside the box. My passion for life inspires me to help my clients remember their precious moments in their families lives.

From Andrea:
“Always give more than you expect to get…cause it WILL come back to you.” If you’re thinking about coming to another After Dark Event remember, the dynamics are different at ear event and you can and will learn from each one. Every creative environment sparks new and different ideas. You can develop relationships within the AD family. If you’ve never been to After Dark Before remember to think of your 3 weakest areas and focus on improving those…don’t be afraid to approach any mentor and ask questions.

How did you get started in the business? Who helped/guided/mentored you?
Ive had a camera in my hand since I was 13. My husband and I started our business 10 years ago. He has always been there to help guide and push me along the way. The people i look up to are: julie Klaasmeyer, Boudoip Divas, and Dinger (Mike ridinger).

How many After Dark Events have you attended and what’s your favorite moment?
I’ve participated in 4 AD Events and my favorite part was Teaching maternity with Justin and Tanja!

Why is education important to you? How long have you been teaching? What made you get into teaching? What do you get out of being a mentor?
I think I bring realism to the teaching world because I’m constantly learning myself and think others should as well. I’m just excited to be able to help others when I can.
