I love new technologies and ideas. I’m of the opinion that if it ain’t broke, fix it anyway. I like to keep pushing myself and my work to new levels. I also like lasagna. Mustard is evil. Seriously. I ride a motorcycle, go fishing when I can, and always wonder what the best thing was before sliced bread.
I’m inspired by anything I’ve never seen done before. Every “wow” moment I have when watching a video or looking at photos is a moment I’m driven further to create the next “wow” moment for someone else.
Love him or hate him, I’m really inspired by Michael Bay. He has a gift for captivating audiences and delivering audio/visual experiences that have never been done before. While I’m not putting CG robots in my films, I’m inspired to rethink the way I use lighting, sound, or composition to craft a unique product for my audience.
How did you get started in the business? Who helped/guided/mentored you?
I’ve loved photography and cinematography from the time I was handed my first camera as a child. It wasn’t until a video production class in college that I realized I could turn my hobbies into a career.
I admire the vision and creativity of Michael Bay. His ability to use light, sound, and shot composition to craft a unique experience for his audience is incredible.

After Darks Attended: 1
“ My favorite moment was the rendition of “Invisible” as performed by everyone who had made it to the final day of shooting for the music video. After the final shot
of the weekend was recorded, we hit “record” one more time, cranked up the song again, and transformed our final location into a hilarious karaoke mosh pit of excitement. ”
